"The era of smartphones with 16GB RAM is over" - OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be the first to get 24GB of Hynix's LPDDR5X "super memory"
OnePlus has officially confirmed the start of mass production of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro flagship smartphone, which is the world's first smartphone with 24GB of physical RAM.
OnePlus has ushered in a new era of smartphones. From now on, 24GB RAM will be used in flagship smartphones and the era of smartphones with 16GB RAM has passed.

OnePlus added that the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, it has received 24GB LPDDR5X "super memory" from Hynix, as well as 1TB of UFS 4.0 flash storage.
With this amount of memory and its proprietary "genetic memory recombination" technology, the smartphone can keep up to 54 frequently used apps in memory for up to 72 hours.
It is officially confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro smartphone will be unveiled next week, on August 16.
