WhatsApp for macOS has gained support for group calls
The WhatsApp app for macOS has received a major update. The new version has a completely redesigned interface with an updated design. In addition, the app is now optimized for larger screens.
Group video and audio calls are now available for the first time in WhatsApp for macOS. Up to 8 people can participate in video calls and up to 32 people can participate in audio calls. Mac users can join group calls once they start, view call history, get notifications of incoming calls even when the app is closed, share files and so on.
The updated app is already available for download on WhatsApp.com and will soon be available on the App Store.
