Xiaomi Pad 6 Max 14-inch tablet has been unveiled

In addition to the foldable smartphone Mix Fold 3 and fitness bracelet Smart Band 8 Pro, Xiaomi introduced the Pad 6 Max tablet. The device features an impressive screen.

Xiaomi Pad 6 Max features a 14-inch 10-bit IPS display with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels (242ppi), 16:10 aspect ratio, 120 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz touch layer frequency and 600nits brightness. The display offers 100% DCI-P3 color space coverage and supports HDR 10 and Dolby Vision. Gorilla Glass 5 is used for protection. There is TÜV Rheinland certification (low blue light, no flicker). There is stylus support with 8192 pressure levels.

The tablet is powered by an 8-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with Adreno 730 graphics. Cooling is provided by a system with a total dissipation area of 15,839 mm². The LPDDR5X RAM capacity is 8, 12 or 16 Gb, the capacity of permanent UFS 3.1 - 256 Gb, 512 Gb or 1 Tb.

Above the screen are a 20MP front camera and a 3D ToF sensor for face unlock. The main camera includes a 50MP sensor (Samsung S5KJN1, 1/2.76″, f/1.8) and a 2MP sensor (SC202CS, f/2.4) for scene depth analysis. The battery capacity is 10,000 mAh and supports 67W charging (100% in 68 minutes). A separate Xiaomi Surge G1 chip is responsible for power management. The tablet can charge other gadgets via PD 3.0 protocol with 33W power.

Xiaomi Pad 6 Max has got light sensors to detect the color temperature of the environment. On the sides of the screen, there are eight speakers with Dolby Atmos support, as well as four microphones. Other features include Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 support, USB 3.2 Type-C connector, NFC module and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The body of the tablet is all-metal. Dimensions are 318.58 x 206.1 x 6.53 mm and weight is 750 g. Android 13 with MIUI 14 is used. The tablet software includes Free Workbench mode, which allows you to work with four applications simultaneously. A separate keyboard with a built-in touchpad (it supports MIUI gestures) and a key stroke of 1.3 mm can be connected to the device.

Xiaomi Pad 6 Max prices are 8/256 Gb - $495, 12/256 Gb - $523, 12/512 Gb - $578, 16 Gb/1 Tb - $633. The keyboard is priced at $110 and the stylus at $70. Sales of the tablet in China have already started.
