YouTube TV has gained support for simultaneous viewing for up to four broadcasts
YouTube TV has been testing the Multiview feature on YouTube TV for several months, which allows users to watch up to four live broadcasts at the same time.
The innovation is now available to users who subscribe to Primetime channels. Initially, they will be able to watch several National Basketball Association (NBA) broadcasts.
Multiview is also now available on the YouTube platform for subscribers of the WNBA Primetime channel. Users will be able to subscribe to different streaming services and watch live basketball games through the YouTube interface. There is a limitation - the option "Recommendations for multi-viewing" in the user menu. After activating one of the available options, playback will begin. You can use the remote control to switch between full-screen viewing and Multiview.
The new feature can be activated on smart TVs and streaming devices such as Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV. Multiview is not available on mobile devices or in the web version of the service.
