The global presentation of Xiaomi 13T smartphone lineup was held
Xiaomi has unveiled the flagship smartphones of the 13T series. These are global versions of Redmi K60 Ultra, which was presented in China in mid-August this year.
The 13T lineup includes two models, a basic and a Pro version, differing only in processor. The older model is built on the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ platform, and the younger one - on MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra. The amount of RAM type LPDDR5X is up to 16 Gb, UFS 4.0 storage capacity is up to 1 Tb. There is also a difference in fast charging power.
The smartphone is equipped with a flat 6.67-inch OLED screen TCL C7 with Full HD+ resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 2600 nits. The PWM frequency is 2880 Hz. There is support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
At the presentation, the manufacturer emphasized on the cameras: for the first time in the T-series Leica technologies were used. The main camera has three sensors: 50 MP (Sony IMX707, 1/1.28″, f/1.9, 7 lenses, OIS+EIS), 50 MP (telephoto, OmniVision OV50D, ½.88″, f/1.9, 5 lenses, autofocus, 20x digital zoom) and 12 MP (wide-angle, 1/3.06″, f/2.2, 5 lenses, fixed focus). The camera can shoot video in 4K at 60 fps or 8K at 24 fps. The front-facing camera is 20MP (f/2.2, 78g angle of view, 5 lenses). The cameras use Leica Summicron lenses.
The 5000 mAh battery supports 67W fast charging to replenish 100% in 42 min. The Pro version features support for 120W faster charging (19 min. to 100%).
The smartphones are also equipped with 5G support, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NavIC, IR port, NFC, USB Type-C port, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Dimensions and weight: 162.15 x 75.7 x 8.49mm and 204g. Android 13 with MIUI 14 shell is used. The case has IP68 protection. It is claimed to have 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security patches.
Prices of the smartphones are Xiaomi 13T - 8/256 Gb - €649, Xiaomi 13T Pro is offered from €800 for 12/256 Gb. Available body colors are black, green, blue. The back cover, depending on the color, can be glass or eco-leather.
