WhatsApp app will soon be available on iPad
WhatsApp messenger hasn't had a separate app for Apple tablets for years. iPad owners had to use the web version of WhatsApp or download third-party clients from the App Store.
The developers have finally launched a beta version of the iPad application, reports the thematic resource WABetaInfo. The test build numbered 23.19.1.71 turned out to be compatible with the iPad.
To participate in the test, you need to register in the WhatsApp beta program and download the apps to your iPhone and iPad. It then requires you to set up the app on your iPad by going to the "Connected Devices" section on your phone. There is no way to register the iPad as a separate device - the tablet can only be a tethered device, just like a PC.
WhatsApp for iPad should be released in the coming months.
