WhatsApp now has an option to send photos in HD quality
The WhatsApp messenger team has announced the launch of an update that allows users to share photos in HD quality. Previously, the feature was in beta testing with a limited number of users of the app on Android and iOS devices.
To get access to the new feature, you need to update the application to the latest version. When selecting an image to send in the photo editor interface, there is a new HD button, which opens a menu with two options: Standard quality (with compression) and HD quality (in original resolution). A photo sent in the original resolution will be labeled "HD" in the chat in the lower left corner.
The new feature of sending HD photos will gradually become available to users around the world. In addition, according to the company, support for HD video will also appear after a while.
