Realme Buds Air 5 wireless headphones unveiled
Realme has unveiled its new Buds Air 5 wireless headphones in China, along with a more affordable Buds T300 model.
Compared to its predecessor, the Buds Air 5 get improved noise cancellation, longer battery life and reduced latency. The headphones are equipped with 12.4 mm drivers. The signal is transmitted via Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity. Thanks to a six-microphone system, the headphones are able to suppress extraneous noise up to 50 dB, which is superior to most analogs on the market.
Each earphone has a 43 mAh battery, while the case has a 460 mAh battery. According to the company, the battery life of the headphones reaches 7 hours, with noise canceling mode enabled - 4.5 hours. Thanks to the charging case, the device will be able to work up to 38 hours in music listening mode. AAC and SBS audio codecs are supported. Low latency of 45 ms is claimed, which allows you to use the headphones for games where reaction speed is important.
The Realme Buds T300 also features 12.4" drivers. Active Noise Cancellation (4 microphones) muffles extraneous noise up to 30dB. There is support for Bluetooth 5.3. The total battery life is 40 hours.
The Realme Buds Air 5 will be offered in white and blue colors for $41, while the Realme Buds T300 will be priced at $27. Sales of the models will start on September 4.
